About Typsy Gypsy
Founder: Dayna Kasprzycki
Established in 2012 as Upcycle, my passion originated from repurposing vintage clothing, with my inclusion of jewelry happening soon after. Transitioning from curator to creator, Typsy Gypsy emerged as a symbol of my passion and commitment to crafting unique, handmade artwork.

During this period, I maintained a bartending role at a local pub, which supported my passion for travel while bringing late nights full of laughter and conversation. Several conversations led to the name Typsy Gypsy—a playful fusion of my profession and a heartfelt homage to my ancestral lineage of artisans, spanning continents and generations.

Exploring my family's history unveiled a tapestry woven with the talents of metalsmiths, tailors, jewelers, and traders, dating back to the 1920s when they immigrated to the US. Inspired by their ingenuity and craftsmanship, I am driven to uphold this legacy through the work of Typsy Gypsy.
"Typsy Gypsy Jewelry is a wearable reminder to feed our inner curiosities and be creative every day."
Our "Heartwork"
My inspiration stems from a blend of upcycling, crystal healing, and vintage fashion. Starting from bullet casing jewelry, I curated pieces from unused shells at the outdoor range my father and I frequented. All pieces in my ballistics line are fired, cut, and polished by hand; breathing new life and meaning into each casing.

As my fascination with crystal healing deepens, I immerse myself in mastering wire wrapping techniques and exploring the therapeutic properties of crystals. Every order is brought by my guarantee of quality, and proceeds contribute to the growth of Typsy Gypsy.

Through my wearable artwork, I aim to inspire others, infusing each piece with creativity and heart—"heartwork"
